Overview
Documentary about Hoboken, N.J., a city that had become a giant slum located just across the river from New York City. During the 8 year period of filming the viewer is shown how the city was transformed, its old buildings were torn down and replaced by new condominiums and inhabited by out of state yuppies. Interviews were made with old and new inhabitants. An insight was gained into the local government, which had to issue permits and make new laws for the rehabbing to be undertaken
