Overview
Rafael Lara, the poor father of newborn twins, is unable to raise enough money for medicine for his sickly twin. At a church, he finds that the infant son of the rich Iturbe has just died. He switches his ill baby with the dead one so that it will receive treatment and live. The twins lead very different lives until a tragedy involving their mother reunites them. Infante plays three roles in this film, which is based on a 16th century novel
