Four former female steelworkers describe their struggle to obtain their jobs, the discrimination that they encountered on the job, the decline of the places which employed them, and their subsequent lives once the mills had closed. Three western Pennsylvania women--Pat Turnell, Sherrie Ortallono, and Sheryl Johnson--are interviewed
