Overview
A home movie of Adolfas and Jonas Mekas and Pola Chapelle of their trip to Lithuania. Brothers Jonas and Adolfas Mekas arrived in America in 1949 as displaced persons, former prisoners of German labor camps, and exiled farmers from their native Lithuanian village. More than twenty years passed before they could return to Lithuania. This odessey is recorded in three different films, one each shot by the Mekas brothers and Pola Chapelle (Adolfas' wife)
