Covers the controversy surrounding the execution of Robert Alton Harris on 21 April 1992. Harris, convicted of murdering two teenage boys after a bank robbery in San Diego in 1978, was the first prisoner to be put to death in the gas chamber in California in twenty-five years. The film looks at the event through the eyes of eleven different witnesses to the execution
