Overview

As a child, Terue is a child she was badly abused by her mother, Toyoko. She runs away at age 17 and becomes a single mother. Later in life, she and her daughter make a trip to Taiwan to search for the grave of Terue's father. During the trip, bad memories come flooding back to Terue and she reflects on her childhood. The grave is located and this discovery prompts Terue to look for her mother who is still alive in Taiwan. She learns that the mother is working in a beauty salon and Terue goes to the shop for a haircut. She is unable to tell her mother who she is, but the meeting helps her to finally recover for her painful childhood
